Welcome to Sylvs & Bane!!! Where we post book stuff and probably some other random stuff that blows our brains up that we must write down!

I bet I should introduce myself, I’m Sylvs (not my real name it’s just a nickname that I adopted) also known as xohumanbeingxo, Pun Maker Extraordinaire or That-Very-Annoying-Person-Who-Bombarded-You-With-Insideadog-Email-Notifications-And-Literally-Replies-To-Every-Comment-Sylvs. I’m a 15 year old SA kid who is only 163 centimetres tall which is not a bad thing it just means I have an easier way to enter a wardrobe portal to Narnia! I’m ENFP-T meaning Extroverted (you probably got that anyway. It’s kind of obvious in the way I write and present myself through writing. Trust me in person I’m no different.) Intuitive (I apparently listen to my “gut feeling” a lot which often leads me to predicting the future (mostly really bad things. I have lots of stories about that) and also guessing book endings or even series endings even when I’m only on book 2…) Feeling meaning “follows her heart” or is very passionate and empathetic. The passionate one I can relate to a lot I mean you probably seen my Simon posts and the Grisha posts and everything in between where I fangirled a LOT. Prospecting meaning hopeful and a “natural” improviser meaning that I do not like following plans and just improvise and hope for the best outcome. And Turbulent meaning I take others opinions above my own and I believe all opinions should be valued and respected even if they are against what I think. That’s what I love about stories and people, there is never a black and white story and there are often more than one side to the story.

In my natural territory, you can see me drinking a lot of sugarless Flat White coffee (yes I know it’s bitter but man can it fill you up) or Orange Juice (I made a new years resolution to not drink any soft drink last year and so far I’m still going strong!! YAY!), A LOT of pizza. Seriously Hawaiian with Cheesy Crust is my guilty pleasure <3, My laptop holding a whole Spotify playlist of my favourite singers that gets updated a lot (The playlists are all named after TV Shows. I have NO IDEA why) and a book next to me. In my natural environment you can observe me singing very off-key (this is to both artists who speak Korean and English) and god bless the neighbours especially those with their hearing still in tact!! wearing merch (at the moment I am wearing a RobertIDK top. RobertIDK who is my favourite Youtuber, also has my high level of enthusiasm.) Looking at social media: Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Goodreads, Twitter, Snapchat and looking at the top trending things, watching Youtube (Dan and Phil, RobertIDK, Ryan Higa, BuzzFeed Unsolved Supernatural/Murder mysteries as some of my personal faves) reading (obviously but you already knew that and I’m not here to point out obvious facts that everyone already knows) looking up on Pinterest for BTS aesthetics and literally BTS everything (my bias is Jin because of all the dad jokes and because he and I both love cooking! although not so much cleaning up after myself…), Watching Stray Kids videos like an obsessive maniac (Hellevator is the best and my bias is OBVIOUSLY FELIX!! Seriously that Australian accent though!!)

Me? You ask? I’m a walking meme. I do random stuff and just am awkward and lovably dorky. I live with 2 cats (one loves me one hates me), a bookshelf filled with books that I haven’t read yet (I borrow a lot from the library!) I go around putting in a pun or two around the place with a pop culture reference around it. There are days where there are book puns (I had a massive pun war about Rhysand and Rhysanably with a friend of mine. Long story short: lasted two days non stop) and other times and most times it’s BTS puns. I can’t help the fact that I can make so many puns!! I started out pun-ning as a joke but it soon ended up becoming my life as much as fangirling has! I like drawing. I do anime and realistic a lot but I think I do better in painting and blending colours together. I like photography as well. All my book pictures are my own. I take them by myself so that I don’t have to reference anyone else and so that I can publicly share online without people getting mad at me. I also like cooking (mainly baking) I bake mainly red velvet cupcakes, brownies, cookies, malteser/hedgehog slice and am currently experimenting on profiteroles for my french assignment of which I can tell you that I have successfully created!!

I also have a secret passion for gaming (Everwing is pretty cool and I used to be the Octagon champion at school along with Papas games and Bubble Struggle) and rollerskating (though I can’t ice skate!) I like writing but I don’t write stories very often. This is because I want to make my stories as perfect and as close to my imagination as possible. I’ll only write when I feel a sense of righteousness in sharing my stories (I’ll give my story ideas to people but I can’t write WRITE it down like an actual story just yet. Just know that my story at the moment includes the following:

-(powerful/she can control all the elemental powers) Princess/future Queen turned soldier after her sister got stolen (runs away from home)
